XENA upgrades XSU Stainless-steel U-Locks

XENA Security has developed a range of stainless steel U-locks to complement its leading alarmed disc-locks.

Like the disc-locks, these ultra high security U-locks are made with high-grade materials and employ innovative design. The name Bullett derives from the unique locking mechanism, which is housed inside a removable “bullet” shape unit – no tools are required as the key operates the locking function and provides access for maintenance, or to re-key.

Constructed from high-grade stainless, inert gas-hardened and chro-moly steels, the 18mm shackle resists cutting and drilling, as well as attacks using anice spray, a substance that thieves commonly use to render cheaper materials brittle and thus easier to crack.

The double-locking mechanism secures both ends of the shackle and the U-bar is designed to resist attempts to twist it open in either direction, in the unlikely event that one side is cut free.

Likeall Xena disc-locks, the Bullett locks use a key and barrel that is manufactured in-house, with250,000 possible key combinationsand a pickproof drill-resistant key entry.

Tested and approved by independent European bodies (e.g. SRA in France and VAT in Finland) Xena locks are highly resistant to the elements to provide years of trouble-free service.

Available in two sizes – 108mm x 270mm (internal loop width and height)and 108mm x 310mm.
